Designed for Action
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
We are God’s workmanship. The Bible clearly demonstrates how valuable and significant we are to Him. God says we are like a poem, a thing of grace and beauty. We are original. We are one-of-a-kind. We are so precious to God that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins (Romans 5:8). We’re told we are God’s own possession, chosen for the praise of His glory and honor (Psalm 8:5, Revelation 1:6). We matter because we are His most prized and priceless treasure!
When we are awakened to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and He becomes our Savior, it’s the starting point to being alive. We begin an amazing journey into the spiritual realm of potential that God arranged for His children. It is His will for us to prosper, be in health and to discover the dreams planted in our hearts (III John 1:2). We are designed to live by faith (Romans 1:17). Faith is the connection with the invisible for our total provision and continuous supply.
Good works do not produce salvation. Good works are a product of salvation. Religion teaches performance to seek approval, we. try to serve Jesus rather than to live by Him. God is not in the ‘fix up’ business. He is in the ‘replacement’ business. We are saved by accepting Jesus Christ as Savior. God came inside us as a Spirit and He became our new life. Salvation on earth is a life of supernatural provision. It may take time to replace the idea ‘I must earn things in order to receive God’s provision’ rather than to believe and receive God’s provision because of Christ’s finished works.
Thinking and believing based on the world’s system runs deep in our nervous system. ‘My behavior must be fixed or cleaned up to experience God’ or ‘if I don’t perform right or do right there is something wrong with me’. Focus on God’s benefits and promises rather than on what’s wrong. Release the Holy Spirit to be what you cannot be on your own and do what is in you to do. This is not a religious idea. It is health, life, peace and personal power.
God ordained that we walk in His provision. We are the steward of the body we live in (I Corinthians 6:19). We’re containers of a power greater than we are, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enriches our bodies by teaching us to think right, speak right and act right. We are God’s property and we must be a good steward and be responsible of that property.
We live in a body, containing a soul and a spirit, connected to God, overcoming human limitations! David was able to keep his attention on God’s promises, building a reservoir of spiritual power by speaking God’s Word over his life (Psalm 119). When we pay attention to God’s promises, mix His Word with faith and say them out loud in a personal, present-tense way, they become reality. We are filling our reservoir of spiritual power.
Faith that Works by Love
It requires action to change our beliefs. Stop talking about mixing faith with God’s Word and start doing it. Because of Jesus Christ, there is always plenty.
It’s not the size of the challenge, it’s the mental size of how we think about it. It’ not the thing that causes emotional stress, it’s what we believe about God and His Word, ourselves and life events. Stop allowing yourself to listen to negative voices and negative memories from the past.
Continuously believe and speak that it is God’s will for you to prosper and be in health (III John 1:2).
Repetition solidifies revelation.
Practice having time set aside to write and speak what you want like you already have it. Speaking words of faith immediately releases a magnetic vibration that moves God’s unlimited substance toward us, forming it into an abundant supply!
