I am Always a Seed Sower!
"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life." Galatians 6: 7-8
Sow what? Sow what you want to reap by the words you speak. What we are experiencing in life today is a result of the seeds we have sown in the past, good or bad. The law of sowing and reaping has governed human destiny since the beginning of time. Every member of the human race is subject to this law; no one can claim they are free from its control. That is why it is important to choose to set our minds on God’s Word and speak faith-filled seeds of goodness over our lives for a harvest of blessings in our future.
The promises we believe in God’s Word must come out of our mouth by the Spirit living in us. They are provided, activated and fulfilled by our spoken words of faith. The promises of God are gifts to use, never earned nor deserved. Without revelation and practice, the ‘what if’s’ of life will speak, creating more of what we don’t want. Speak God’s Word, train your mind to think upon God’s Word and His Word will become a major part of your life.
In Galatians 6:8, the word corruption means without understanding of Christ within, even what you have will eventually be taken from you (Matthew 25:29). Humans have a convenient reason for this slow loss by calling it old age. Without seeing this reason as an excuse for lack, loss will be a life-style. The flesh is another name for original sin, a death producer. Adam’s sin is the source of humanism; it is an attitude of ‘I can do it without God’. The energy from this attitude can go a long way, but it will eventually let you down.
One of the symptoms of being controlled by the flesh is postponing satisfaction, peace and joy. We have this deceiving idea that something in our future will come along to make us feel better. The ‘now’ seems unimportant, boring or difficult. Lack of satisfaction, peace and joy in the now will cause a sowing of destructive seeds; tension, worry, guilt or hostility. Destructive seeds planted by lack lay a foundation for physical afflictions. Without revelation of the Holy Spirit being the treasure of our life and the excellency of our power, we will always sow in the flesh (II Corinthians 4:7).
We sow seeds out of what we believe (Matthew 8:13). Sowing seeds by our attitudes, the words we speak and by our judgments create our future. If we don’t sow in love, joy and peace in the present, we will look forward to something exciting. Understanding this law of joy and thankfulness in the now sows seeds of abundance into our future. Practice satisfaction with gladness every day. Sowing seeds for the future is what we do, the results belong to the Holy Spirit who performs the faith attitudes we think and speak.
“…for many are called, but few chosen…” God does the calling and we do the choosing. God created us with a will and He gave us the right to exercise our wills; to make choices. We have the choice, eternal life by receiving Jesus Christ as our personal Savior or death by rejecting Him. Even after we have received Jesus as Savior, we continually make choices in the things we do, what we believe and what we say allowing life or death to work in us. Choose your words carefully; make them the words you want your future and destiny to be. When we choose to know God’s Word, speak God’s Word and to hold fast to God’s Word, we are choosing God’s best for our lives.
I am called to be a chooser. I choose this moment to say, “Holy Spirit, You are released by faith in me to live in supernatural peace, joy and love this present moment. Holy Spirit, I have accepted You are in me as a fact. You are always available to be the helper in my life (Hebrews 13:6). I know all of my life, health and peace are in me now because of You. You are active in me as my great energy. Because of You, whatever my task at hand, I perform it with joy and peace. By my Holy Spirit consciousness, nothing is too difficult and all things are possible. I attract the right people and ideas to my life. I am always at the right place at the right time. I no longer look for a breakthrough to escape any form of lack or illness. I call myself a breakthrough and I now live in Your provision. All things work in a pattern for my good. Your good causes my cup to run over; it flows over me, to others and in every area of life. My faith words are like thunder, changing my life for the greater good. I am so thankful to You Lord Jesus Christ for Holy Spirit provision. Amen!
