Words Fitly Spoken... Better Health
"A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver." Proverbs 25:11
Words are a creative force. Abundant life, the future and the power of being a channel of God’s riches are in our mouth. There is a sense of divine, supernatural power in our inmost being beyond anything we experience when we speak words of faith with love. God designed us to speak His word (Romans 10:8). Our words should be like gold, valuable, attractive, edifying, encouraging and uplifting in a way that is perfectly fitted to the circumstance. Jesus tells us that we are justified to have the things we desire and produce amazing results by speaking the right words (Matthew 12:37). We can have all of God’s good by our faith statements based on His Word. Speak God’s Words, train your mind to think upon God’s Word and His Word will become a major part of your life.
We have the power of life and death in our tongue (Proverbs 18:21). We will give account of every idle word we speak on the day of judgment (Matthew 12:36). Idle words are non-faith words of lack, fear, anger, gossip, past regrets and pride. Judgment is the constant wheel of sowing and reaping. Speaking non-faith words is sowing in the flesh; it extracts life. Speaking faith-filled words from a ‘God is my source’ position is a foundation for abundance. “A man has joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!” Proverbs 15:23. ‘Due season’ is speaking faith words in a present-tense way for future manifestation. The faith thought spoken becomes the thing in our future; this revelation is a joy producer. Ideas becoming things is a law of life that God established for His people. Every comfort we have started with an idea. We were ideas from God; at the right time, we showed up on earth. I am thankful that my time on earth was after the idea of the automobile became real. I can’t imagine riding to town on a horse.
Statements that Produce Perfect Health and Increased Strength
- It is the will of God that I prosper and be in health (III John 1:2). I continuously receive my perfect health and increased strength from Jesus Christ’s stripes. I am whole, healthy and strong. Because of this truth in III John 1:2, it is not normal to be ill, depressed or controlled by moods other than the mood of faith that works by love (Galatians 5:6).
- When we allow our hope to be blocked by a difficult situation, our thinking becomes limited, we cease to expand and tiredness sets in. If we believe our hopes are unobtainable, it is like taking a small amount of poison every day. Frustrated hope causes fatigue. God’s Spirit is always with me; I am not alone (Hebrews 13:5). By the Holy Spirit in me, all things are possible (Mark 9:23). The God of all hope abounds in me now! Read Romans 15:13 with faith!
- Practice casting your cares upon the Lord (I Peter 5:7). If we allow blame, regret, wrong thinking, doubt, judgments, fear, comparison, anger, envy, strife or pride to remain inside, they will turn against us and develop into a physical, mental or emotional disease. Without the practice of casting every destructive emotional thought upon the Lord, the same destructive emotion is attracted (II Corinthians 10:5). By the prospering, peace releasing name of Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, You are my ability to ‘let go’ of my cares to the Lord. I know that ‘letting go’ allows You to perfect that which concerns me (Psalm 138:8). Something good is coming to me through this situation. Amen.
- Keep your shield up by saying so! Because the Lord Jesus Christ is my refuge, my habitation, no evil comes to me and no plague comes to my dwelling place. God’s angels are given to me to keep me in all my ways. You are my fortress, in You I trust. I am delivered from the snares of the fowler and from noisome pestilence. I am covered by Your grace. I am not afraid by night or day because of Jesus Christ; it shall not come near me. God has shown me the path of life and His presence is the fullness of joy. Thanks be to Jesus Christ whose mercy endures forever. Say the words of protection from Psalm 91 every day. Your shield is up!
Thank you Lord that my mouth is a portal for creative faith, given to me by Your design for life, health and peace. By Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.
