Have Proper Position
"Therefore, you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." Galatians 4:7
Whatever you do, the proper position is most important. When strength training any area of the body, having proper form and technique is crucial. It is necessary to focus on proper position and practice until it becomes natural. Improper form may not only cause an injury, but you will not work the intended muscle groups to develop and grow. We are designed by God to adapt into the position we focus on and practice. As you practice, say, “I adapt to this.” And soon it becomes a natural way of life.
We are designed to experience what we desire and believe. This motivates us to continue to practice changing our human beliefs into God’s Word. When Jesus said, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you” (Matthew 8:13), He was giving a supernatural key to life, health and peace. The beliefs behind our thinking become our reality; it is the law of life or death. No human can stop this process. For a new and living way, we can change our beliefs by renewing our minds based on God’s Word (Romans 12:2). Our thoughts and words become a predictor of our future. For example, if you have adapted society’s belief of old age, this tainted idea can start manifesting as early as forty or fifty years old. I heard a TV ad for some drug claiming the results would be different if you were over 65 because it will take you longer to heal. In my world, that is a lie. I am 78 years old. One day I cut my hand on a tree branch. I put my other hand on it and said, “By Jesus Christ’s name, I command this cut to be healed now!” The cut completely vanished! My healing took less time than when I was 20!
I seriously began training with weights when I was 49 years old after a doctor told me to leave weights alone because that was for younger people. I had already been practicing faith when a pain started in my left shoulder. I immediately put my hand on that pain and said, “By Jesus Christ’s name, I command this illegal and defeated thing to get off me right now. Holy Spirit, I release You by faith to do Your job now. Thank you.” The pain left! To me, this is faith training. When something happens, put your faith and words on it quickly.
The devil works with our lack of revealed knowledge. Every person has certain beliefs. Many are not aware that what they believe becomes their reality. If you believe in lack, limitation, disease or failure, they will manifest by your belief convictions. It is easier to attach to old patterns, use excuses, blame or self-pity than to train your belief system by God’s Word. We have been given power and authority over the works of the devil; he is defeated by Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit lives in you all the time as a fact. Never divide your life into believing you do certain things on your own and other things you rely on God; that is double-mindedness (James 1:8). When you believe you are a container of God for every moment and for every event, you’ll experience miracles of abundance! This is your proper position in Jesus Christ. Make the decision that you do nothing on your own. Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, is the treasure of your vessel and the excellency of your Power. Why not put God’s Word in your belief system?
Jesus Christ is Your Proper Position
1. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are grafted into Israel, partaking of the root and fatness of the olive tree (Jesus Christ).
2. Accept and say: Because of Jesus Christ, I am Israel. I have power with God and of God. I have love-ability for people. I have prevailing victory over life (Genesis 32:28). I am a seed of Abraham (Galatians 3:29). I am an heir of God (Galatians 4:7). I am a joint heir with Jesus Christ (Romans 8:17). I am the righteousness of God. I am a spirit connected to the Holy Spirit overcoming human limitations. I always have provision for all things because of Jesus Christ. Thank you!
3. The Lord Jesus Christ makes you perfect (I Peter 5:10). Perfect means your accepted position in Christ is by faith, not by works (behavior). In your proper position in Christ, you focus and affirm you are instant in prayer and victorious in life.
4. Because of Jesus Christ, I am a container of the Holy Spirit. By Him, I have no limits, no fear and no lack. I experience His supernatural peace and cannot be shaken. Amen.
