Who is the Pleasure of God? We are!
"Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will." Ephesians 1:5
What makes God happy? What gives God great delight? All creation, everything that exists was created by God for his pleasure. And so are we. Like everything else, we were created by God so we could bring Him pleasure. We exist for God. We were made to honor, serve, obey and worship our Creator.
Before the foundation of the world, God planned for us to be in fellowship with Him through Jesus Christ so He could take pleasure in our prosperity. The Scripture tells us that God's prosperity is multi-dimensional. Prosperity is received by faith. Everything we do requires faith in God's ability to do what He has promised in His Word. The Holy Spirit living in us is the power source and the complete supply of our prosperity (II Corinthians 9:8). When we allow the Holy Spirit to have full access and freedom in our lives, He reveals methods for living in the abundance and prosperity reserved for us. Saying the name of Jesus Christ and speaking God's Word in a personal present-tense way frees the Holy Spirit to release the provision of the Divine substance for our abundance and prosperity. Without the Holy Spirit, we can do nothing; He is the breath of life!
It is God's Will for us to prosper in all areas: spiritually, emotionally, physically and materially. As children of God, it is our Divine heritage to enjoy a life of abundance and prosperity as we give expression to the life of Christ into our world. Put God first in all things, allow Him to prosper you exceedingly, abundantly, above all you can ask or think according to the power that works in you (Ephesians 3:20).
How to Experience God's Pleasure
1. Accept the idea that it is God's will for us to prosper and be in health (III John 2). Release the Holy Spirit to raise the level of our belief system to believe what God says in His Word.
2. The Holy Spirit is our continuous helper. This is a challenging concept to recognize and affirm when we become involved with emotions and circumstances. The Holy Spirit living in us waits to be recognized, affirmed and acted upon regardless of our behavior (Galatians 5:22). As we speak God's Word and release the Holy Spirit by faith to perform His words, He brings reality to what we say (Hebrews 13:6).
3. Practice releasing the Holy Spirit for every situation. Take time to observe, pray, adapt and overcome before saying or doing something we may regret (Proverbs 21:23). Nothing happens until we say so!
4. Say the name of Jesus Christ for all situations. Saying His name activates the Holy Spirit to release our total provision and continuous supply. As we see amazing results of our applied faith, we will be open to receive God's pleasure.
Thank you Lord that my prosperity is Your prosperity. I am open to receive your good into my life. I am a channel for Your riches to flow to others. I say this to be so in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
