The Supernatural... It's All Around!
"Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed." Psalm 37:3
There are three words to open the door to supernatural provision; Jesus Christ and thanksgiving. The name of Jesus Christ is the greatest, most powerful name in existence (Philippians 2:9). The authority given by Jesus permits us to take action on His behalf (John 14:13-14). It is by faith in Jesus Christ's name that we are saved, set free from the bondage of sin, healed and made whole.
Jesus gave His name to activate the Holy Spirit to be our helper (John 14:16). When we call upon the name of Jesus, the Holy Spirit is activated and forms faith ideas in us. We must deliberately choose to take hold of those faith ideas, to act upon them and expect to see amazing results. The Holy Spirit becomes the magnet that connects us with the rich substance of the invisible world, drawing to us the supernatural total provision. Lord Jesus Christ, You in me by the Holy Spirit, You are my miracle of peace, power and plenty for today. Thank you.
When David wrote, "...dwell in the land", he was talking about a high level of awareness. This high level of awareness creates a new wave of thankfulness for life and people as we release the Holy Spirit to be our attitude of thankfulness. Being thankful is always the first step to releasing God's provision. "In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." I Thessalonians 5:28. "Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Ephesians 5:20.
Awareness is Dwelling in the Land
1. The earth is supernatural. "The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men." Psalm 115:16. When we become aware of the world we live in and how it operates, it is life changing. The air we breathe, gravity, the sun, creation, the way the body is designed are all supernatural miracles. We are upheld by the word of His power (Hebrews 1:3). Every day look up, look around and say to our Creator, "What a great thing you did!"
2. The awareness of Jesus as Savior is supernatural. When we call on Jesus Christ's name, something happens on the inside we can't explain. Fifty years ago, Sandi and I accepted Jesus as Savior. We knew in our hearts our sins were forgiven and we would spend eternity in heaven. That experience was supernatural because it changed everything in us and our future unfolded in a whole different way. Every day I thank the Lord Jesus Christ, who created everything, was available to us then as He is today and will be in the future. Sandi and I became born of the Spirit, baptized in the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues on the same day... it is supernatural!
3. Revelation is supernatural. When the eyes of our understanding open, that is revelation. We suddenly know something we didn't know before. I remember how my life changed when I realized I was living because of Jesus, not for Him. This change of concept affected my entire life. Knowing the Creater of this great universe has called me and empowered me wit Himself; this is supernatural! God, who created and contains this vast universe, prepared a place for humans to live and made it possible for us to know Him by His Spirit. He created us to be a bundle of potential.
4. The right words spoken in the right way is supernatural. The right attitude with the right words is an open window to God's provision. "A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it." Proverbs 15:23. A grateful attitude with a 'thank you' word for all things, releases God's stored up riches, awaiting our word of thankfulness.
Heavenly Father, thank you for Your great design and order for all things, including me. Thank you for my life and the people in it. By Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
