Safe and Secure
"Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." Psalm 91: 9-11
When the words from Psalm 91 come out of your mouth on a regular basis, the hedge of protection around you as a believer in Christ grows stronger and stronger. They must come out of your mouth by faith to establish the provision of Christ in your life. Make the words 'say it to be so' part of your belief system by saying them out loud. David said, "I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust." Psalm 91:2. In a refuge, your needs are cared for and in a fortress, you are protected from the outside. Isaiah saw this provision many years ago before Jesus came and replaced Adam's mistake with His perfectness.
"Arise, shine; for thy light is come (we become aware of Jesus Christ as our Savior) and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth (pride, fear, anger, controlling people), and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." Isaiah 60:1-2. God's glory gift is a blessing to us. Glory is a supernatural manifestation of God's mercy that gives great grace, reveals His unconditional love to us and produces empowered, amazing results. Regardless of how unstable your emotions may seem at times, you have Spirit power to choose your attitude of peace and joy. No matter what surprise comes into your life, you have power to choose your response of love that works by faith. The Spirit is in us to be our helper (Hebrews 13:6).
Your safety and the safety of your family is in the power of your mouth. The pressure of the red horse is getting stronger and stronger (Revelation 6:4). Power was given to him to take peace from the earth and to cause people to kill each other. Only in Christ is there true peace and peace is activated in you when you say so. Jesus, thank you that You are my peace (John 14:27). Revelation 6:6 tells us that we are not to be hurt. "... and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine." Notice the process beginning in verse 2... "And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering and to conquer." This is Jesus Christ; it is finished by Him! That is why Jesus said, "... and nothing by any means shall hurt you." Luke 10:19. Many defer their personal power by thinking everything is some future event. Stop looking for somebody to explain Revelation to you and let the Holy Spirit explain to you in the NOW. The red horse removes peace and causes people to kill each other (vs. 4). This is happening now. The black horse will cause the economy to be difficult, but not for the oil and wine (vs. 5). The oil is the Holy Spirit and we are His container. The wine is the newness of God and we are His new wine skin (Matthew 9:17).
In the Old Testament (II Kings 4:1-7), Elisha helps a widow who has no money to pay a debt her husband owed. When she was obedient to what Elisha had instructed, her economy changed to abundance; God became her source. She went to God's servant and cried out for help. That is true for us today. When you face difficulties in your life, you should cry out and ask God for help. Your position of safety, security and provision must come out of your mouth (Romans 10:8). God's Word must be mixed with faith or nothing will change anything (Hebrews 4:2). Lord Jesus Christ, no matter what darkness is covering and destroying people, Your glory is upon me and it is seen. The glory (results) of my life sings praise to God and they will not be silent (Psalm 30:12). I will say of the Lord, You Lord are my refuge and my fortress. My God, in You will I trust. You shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler (one who sets traps) and from the noisome pestilence (anything that robs, destroys or kills) because I have made the Lord my refuge and my habitation. NO evil shall come near my dwelling. You have given angels charge over me to keep me in all my ways. Lord, I say let your Glory continue to rise upon me and all of my family. The Lord is our Sheppard and we are safe and secure. I say it to be so by Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
